Happy May, fellow writers and readers.

Here we are already. Edition 2 of SQ Mag. We’ve got a great issue for you, full of stories of loss and deception, secrets and lies. Some are the finalists for 2011’s Story Quest competition and I am sure you will see why our judges saw their outstanding qualities.

We’ve got two guest stories in this edition. First is Creeper from Daniel I Russell, VP of the Australian Horror Writers Association and  horror novelist. His new novel, The Collector: Mana Leak, is fortuitously released today as well. Next we have Daniel Pearlman, whose great novelette, What Women Really Want, you might remember from SQ Magazine’s second edition. We are fortunate to have his flash fiction in this edition, The Narrow Gate.

Also, how decidedly chilling is our cover? This amazing art was done for us by Jeffery Doherty, who is fast becoming one of our regular artists, producing the exciting cover design for our current serial, and whose other artwork graces several other of our pages. As always, we love to hear from you.
